Knitting & stitching Spring show

I returned home yesterday from the knitting and stitching show at Olympia with groaning badges and a sore knee having had a lovely day’s shopping.

I met up with a friend also on the diploma at the RSN and we had a great time looking at the amazing stuff they had on offer!

Or first stop was Fabrics Galore, a shop in Clapham that I used to frequent when we lived in London.

I bought these 3 and had to pull myself away before I spent my entire budget on one stall!

My other fabric purchases included this pack of bears

With a closer view:

The two in the middle are a lovely soft cotton and the other three are more canvassy.

I also bought some of this fabric which i’m seeing all over at the moment.. i think I saw two different people selling cushions made from it in my twitter time line last night, so maybe I’ll have to come up with something else.

These were my other purchases, sorry not ironed for the photo. They’re from a lovely French could and are painted on cotton. I’m just going to make them up into a cushion for my son. They’re way too sweet!!

All this scrummy new fabric is now washed and drying in the line while I mull over what to do with it all 🙂

I love comments so don’t be shy, let me know what you think…
