So 2013 is coming to a close. I can’t resist a look back at the year and if you want to join me leave a comment and link to your own review of 2013.
2013 was quite a big year for Suzical. I sold my first quilts, taught 2 workshops – one Christmas and one for my mum’s embroidery group and finally set up an online shop. All of these have been goals of mine for some time now and I’m so happy I finally built up the courage to put my stuff out there!
I also finished my Certificate with the Royal School of Needlework. I have started my diploma, but that is taking a bit of a backseat while I work on more profitable projects!
On a dairy free eating note, we got an ice cream maker which had opened up a whole world of new puddings for my son..
I also got James Morton’s Brilliant Bread for my birthday in October and haven’t looked back – it’s home baked all the way now! Next year I want to play with some variations not just sandwich loaves.
Looking forward to 2014, I have lots of ideas for combining embroidery with quilting and some gorgeous fabric waiting to be made up into cot quilts.
So happy new year and best wishes for 2014, I think it will be an exciting one!
I love comments so don’t be shy, let me know what you think…
